I need something to help with my motivation and will power so I'm definitely in. I'm aiming for 200 miles in January hopefully, a mix of fitbit registered miles and cycling on a turbo trainer whilst the weathers pants.
8 Miles so far, 5 miles on a turbo trainer (a bit of a guess but I did an hour so that's gotta be at least 5 miles) and 3 miles walking.

Back in going to say 90 miles this month as the snow and winter weather leave me doing other types of exercise often, instead of my outside runs- Happy New Year!0
-
Please have me back!
I was here 2 years ago - 1000x fitter and 2 stone lighter
(don't ask ... a hectic 2 years inbetween ... if someone asks, your job is NEVER worth your health)
So now I have to lose the 2 stone and get fit again. So far, I can only run for 1 min so I have to begin where I am and work up.
If it is not too late for Jan. I am going to do 5 miles for January
(I know it sounds like it is a joke but it is really where I am)
I will log silly little amounts this month and look better next month l... etc etc0 -
1-1 Bike Trainer 22.4
1-3 Bike Trainer 26.5 (+30ds)
Total 48.90 -
Got a meh 3.7 miles in on the dreadmill tonight. Was not a real awe-inspiring performance, but hey, they can't all be PR's, right? :ohwell:
Dave
Some days meh is the best you can hope for.

Announcing one more December GOALMAKER.....DONJESSOP!!!! :drinker::drinker::drinker:
SUSSEXBYTHESEA - Not sure which I like less....hills or wind resistance... :noway: But good for you for perservering!
CLEPANT - No worries...you're on the January list and up-to-date. It might still be defaulting to the December page for now...although you should be on that one as well.
BAZ_MAN - Welcome! 5 miles for a full hour seems pretty conservative....I don't know how fast you were actually pedaling or what gear, but you were probably going faster...maybe 8-10 mph? Your call though. Better to guess under than over.
SALLYBEIGE - Welcome back! Of course you're not too late to join...and NO goal amount is silly. Everyone's "hard" is different and everyone is treated equally here. Good luck! :flowerforyou:
So I'll be off on the slopes this evening and hoping to stay warm! I'm chaperoning another one of my son's School Ski Club outings. Have a great, healthy day and catch you later!
