So this isn't a weight loss question but I'm just curious are any of you military wives step moms and do you have sole custody of your stepchild?
My oldest (my bonus child) is 8 and I have him all year long except for every other holiday and a couple months during the summer. Even when my husband deploys he stays with me and I feel like the lone ranger because even though there are alot of step moms in the military lifestyle they normally aren't the one that takes care of them 90% of the time.....

Iam, but I'm not. Guess I'm the 90%. We had an agreement before I agreed to get married that his mistake is his not mine. I would never stop him seeing his child but I wouldn't be there as I'm not a child person. It seems harsh but I think it's better this way as I would do more harm than good.

My stepsons (8 and 6) live with us and visit their mom for 8 weeks during the summer. During the last deployment and the one coming up, the boys stay with me.0
