The Day After

Thought it might be helpful to have a thread where we post tips on how to get back on track after a binge!
For me, I think the following helps -
* self love! don't beat yourself up, and don't let a slip up define you as a person
* eat healthy, nourishing foods instead of eating minimal amounts to compensate
* clean yourself up and wear something you feel confident and comfortable in
* light exercise
* clean your kitchen

Of course, actually doing these things can be a lot harder when the couch, your favourite tv show and decadent left overs are calling your name!

    I find another thing that helps me is setting yourself up for success- this for me, means planning for the next day and making it as easy as possible on myself. After a binge, I'll usually plan my meals out for the next day, wash all the dishes and basically just get rid of anything that might remind me of the binge. I plan out what exercise I might do as well.
