What does everyone think of the new Boston Marathon jacket?

    Bright...good for evening runs. Is the detailing on the sleeves reflective?

    That orange colour is obnoxious, which I kind of love about it. I would never, ever buy a jacket that looked like that, but since it's from the Boston Marathon, I'd totally wear it with pride. Unclear why that's the case.

    Now if I could just get my damn BQ... :laugh:

    Not that I'd be getting a jacket fort 20 years or so, but I like last years (yellow and blue) a lot.

    I've also heard complaints about the lack of a vent on the back. Personally I don't think that would bother me as I wouldn't be running in it -- I mainly wear my 2013 edition as a badge of pride (didn't qualify this year).

    I like the orange, though. Hopefully this doesn't mean this will be a hot year, like it was in 2012 when they also had an orange jacket.

    Well, I'd like it for trail running during hunting season.

    I'll be running the DRB 50k instead. Not that I qualified ;). But I live in Massachusetts and will probably have to wander on down to the expo. I have a houseguest that is coming who will be running Boston, but he definitely won't buy the jacket.

    I'd wear it, but I decided to pass on Boston this year. I'm qualified for 2015, I'll run it then. I hope the jacket is just as obnoxious next year. :)

    I love it. I wear a lot of orange though. Hoping for 2015 :glasses: my target qualifier will be in mid June. Must train, must train hard :happy: (but carefully).

    I prefer last years b/c they are the same colors as the Swedish Flag :bigsmile:

    I'd wear it except I doubt I'll ever qualify for Boston.....

    When it comes to running clothes the gaudier the better, motorists might actually see me!
