...I weighed myself this morning and I am officially no longer obese. Woohoo! I am overweight!

    I can't wait for that!! My BMI is hovering around the 30.something and doesn't seem to want to go lower!

    Can't wait for that day to occur but still have a journey to go.

    so my 2 big goals for 2014 are to no longer be in the obese category and to see a number on my scale that doen't start with a "2"

    I'm still hovering just under 30 but I have joined a spin class, an aquafit class and my husband and I have started hiking so I'm expecting more loss soon. We have set a goal to walk the Camino de Santiago - the route from Portugal into Spain, in 2019 so I have to get my hiking boots broken in! :wink:

    Keep doing what you know you are suppose to everyday and someday you will actually see it say "Normal" - it can happen!!!

    Mine is now 24 and I started out at 46 so keep on trucking....................!!!

    New update: According to the World Health Organization's BMI charts, I am now, at 172 lbs, only marginally overweight!!!!

    And I forgot to say that since I had my first appointment with the doctor to discuss weight loss surgery 5 1/2 years ago, I have now lost 101 lbs.

    Another milestone, I weighed myself this morning and I am at 164. That makes my BMI 25.7. I am now officially in a normal - not overweight - weight range. I am 14 pounds away from goal weight. Wow.

    Congratulations!! I am 23 lbs from BMI 25. I am hoping to get there by Christmas. Seems like every permanent lb lost takes a month now. But I just focus on each day. Good luck with maintenance! Post when you hit your 1 year of normal.
