Organic Food Bar-protein "flavor" is my fave. at 22g of pro/18g of sugar... it's one of the best out there IMHO.

The clif builder bars are really good! 20g of protein and they have a great texture and flavor.

    Vega bars.
They are pricey though, but once in a while, they are totally worth it and they're soy-free.

I like Clif and Lara ALT bars. I recently made custom Element bars and tried some of their other ones and they were good. I've been meaning to try to make my own using No Meat Athlete's formula: http://www.nomeatathlete.com/homemade-energy-bar-recipe/, but I have not gotten to it yet.

Thank you for this! I made a (slightly modified because some of the ingredients were already frozen together into a previous dessert) version of this and see these becoming a part of my daily routine.

Mine used red lentils, banana, peanut butter, coconut oil, oatmeal, brown rice syrup, pumpkin seed protein powder. It's amazing with vegan butter and jam on it for breakfast, and I'm going to have it as dessert with some vegan ice cream. It's lasting quite a while too because they are so dense.

I might try using cauliflower or butternut squash as the binder, though not for calorie reasons but just to get veggies in wherever I can.

Me too. I love the Apple Crisp!

I hear that the Keen-wah Decadence Bars are pretty good but hella pricey.
