    at 11pm, the night before my surgery I got up and had a big glass of water ( I was NPO after midnight). I wanted nice fluffy veins and an easy stick. They stuck me 1st time and I was able to pee for the pregnancy test they give you before they wheel you in. Walk and sip as soon as they let you.
