    New member in the group. Just getting back on the wagon after falling on my head during the holidays. By next November, I will have all new habits, and will be much more fit and active than I am now. Next November all the cookies and treats will NOT BEAT ME! I will develop new habits and activities and coping mechanisms and learn moderation in all things, so that I can live healthy for the rest of my life!

    I completely forgot to check in last week! Thankfully I keep track on my own log. I guess it looks like I need to change my goal. Which is a great thing, but it puts a little pressure on me for the week.
    I also and a little reluctant to do that just yet, bc I don't trust my home scale.
    When I weighed myself this morning my husband was home and he told me not to weight myself where I was. So of course I had two different weights. 218 and 215. I took the higher, just in case. I have a dr.'s apt tomorrow so I will find out my true weight, hoping for the latter or the two. =)

    I hope I managed to find a better groove with eating last week, I am looking to do a couple of things this week like actually get back into walking! And I need to start sleeping more I am exhausted! And starting to do some strength training again! I won't make the 289 this month but I will make a difference!


    I wish I could congratulate each one separately for coming here, weighing in doing good caring about yourselves but there are so many names so many new and older members it's just not possible! So high fives to everyone who came good or bad, who cared enough about themselves to struggle through another week! Your all awesome and you all deserve to reach your goals!

    Oh boy, that was a big loss for me! normally when I have a big loss, I gain the next week.

    Mini Goal - don't focus on the # focus on the eating healthier and working out 4+ times this week.

    Well, I had a .2 gain, not near as bad as I thought. I worked out enough :bigsmile: Although, I did have a couple of bad food days. :embarassed:

    Been tracking my weight but have not recorded it here. I've injured my ankle, so no exercise and a lot of water weight. Also This month was full of celebrations for me, my birthday, a lot of my friends birthday and I got accepted into law school, which meant a lot of cake :) so I'm hoping to just break even from where I started this month or more realistically 235.

    Two weeks of work to get back to where I thought I was, and the way I was trending earlier this week, I am SO happy to be back here... Paula, I appreciate the thoughts on the scale, but we really have nowhere to put something like that. The scale we have now is stored next to the tub in the Master bath. I'll live, even if I rant every 4 to 6 months! One week left to get to goal (and it looked so much like I was going to blow by it!) :laugh:

    Heads up fellow moderators. I have business trips most of February, at least one of which is to a place that doesn't have Verizon cell coverage, so I will likely be starting from scratch on everything! I'll be taking a month off the challenges. If either of you want the spreadsheet for tracking group progress, let me know. It takes about 20 minutes once a week to catch it up.

    1/3/14= 200 (+ .5) Normal fluctuation for daily weighing. This half pound is there one day and gone the next.
    1/11/14= 199.5 (- .5) Back to Onederland, but only as of this morning.
    1/18/14= 198 (-1.5) Feels solid now.
    1/25/14= 197 (-1.0) Sevens are my "round" numbers - I've lost exactly 120 pounds.

    I've started lifting (small) weights - hopefully this is turning fat into muschle. :tongue: I am also including more starches (not a lot though) with my meals, which make meals easier to eat, which makes me want to eat more. It doesn't feel out of control though. Eating at the top of my range (800 cal/day) instead of the bottom (600 cal/day). Probably why my losses are halved.
