My other half eats donuts, ice cream, and other sticky stuff - and has a broken ankle, so can't get it himself. I catch myself a lot, but I've learned to get that stuff without licking my fingers.
(Same with the little bit of whipped cream I put on the kids' fruit salad . . .)

Yes, I find myself doing the same! I do catch myself often because I'm afraid even a lick would make me have to start over. The challenge is really worth doing as it keeps me mindful all the time. darn it.0

It is a slippery slope. A broken ankle, ow. Poor guy.
