I found this once while looking for something on youtube and it has been my go to ever since. I don't know the guy in the video but I find him hugely inspirational and I have a lot of respect for him for what he has accomplished.

L'important c'est de prendre le depart... Le reste suivra apres
I am not sure how to translate that in english but i will try...
The important is to start. Everything will follow after.
This is a sentence that i have heard in a conference that was given by an triathlete (who was >400lbs 2 years ago) who now runs half-ironman at 50 years old..
It always keeps me moving when i'm tired (especially when i go running). Because if he was able to loose more than 200 lbs and become a athlete then I guess that i can do it too (losing the weight).0 -
My dog helps to keep me motivated. I see how much energy he has, and how he wants to go and walk and run. I try to enjoy the exercise with him. I feel bad when he has to stay in the house.0
