About three months, I think, but may never eat spice to the level I once did.

I have been eating spicy food since the soft food stage, about 4 weeks out for me. I started off with just a little. I am 4 months out and I use hot sauce and spices in my food without any problems. I am so happy I can still eat my spicy food!

About 1 month after Sleeve, spicy in moderation. You really want your staple line to heal fully before adding acidic foods and sauces.

I am light on the heat now. Had some level 2 Thai the other day 12 weeks out and had excruciating cramping within the hour.

I have been having a burning feeling in my stomach and I thought it was because of the spicy foods but my nurse just prescribed CARAFATE because she thinks I have developed an ulcer :(
