What to eat... what to eat!?!?

So I love food. LOVE IT. And not just healthy food. I love crap food like ice cream sandwiches, cake, cookies etc etc. As I am beginning this bulking phase I just don't know what to eat. I know that I can't go overboard with crap food. I really try to eat as healthily as possible (egg whites, lots of chicken and veggies, blah blah). But honestly now that I have more allowable calories than when I was trying to lose weight, is it so bad to eat the crap food every day? Not a large quantity but, for example, today I had a little bit of cake and an ice cream sandwich. But for the rest of my 1800 calories I ate very well.

Can someone please give me some insight? I know I will never be a 100% clean eater. It's just not who I am. But I want to do this bulk properly, without gaining a ridiculous amount of fat (because I've eaten too many crap foods) but also without eliminating my delicious treats.

    As long as you hit your macro targets you should use the time of bulking to eat everything :)

    Yesterday I had: half an iced belgian bun, ice cream, chocolate aaaand lots of cheese. This is a very normal day for me. No way I can eat all my calories without ice cream!

    All is fair (within your macros) when bulking

    I failed every. other. time I tried to lose weight. Why? Because I thought I "had" to cut all the yummy stuff I loved out. Totally not sustainable for me in the long run. Now I enjoy my food AND have control over my weight. It's a pretty awesome win-win situation, tbh. Bulking just means you get to eat MOAR of the yummy stuff you'd be eating anyways lol. Yay for not having to chose between cookies or ice cream for dessert - I eat them both! :D

    Like the other 2 fine bulking ladies said, hit your macros and micros and your fine. Once again, it's the amount of your surplus over your maintenance level that determines your fat gain along with whether or not you're progressively lifting; not the food quality.

    still eating ice cream- still happy.

    I eat ice cream almost every day- or every other day.

    I'm trucking along just fine.

    Get your protein in and try to hit those macros (close enough is usually fine) and then go ham.
