Hi, Thanks for adding me to this group..I am new here to mfp only been here about 2 weeks, but I love it so far...I have found so many great people here to help keep me motivated...I have 100+ pounds to lose, but I know I can do it with all of these wonderful people cheering me on...I have done so many weight loss programs in the past and I really have never felt the support from any of them like I do here...I know I have a long journey ahead of me but I am determined that this will happen...I have 2 beautiful kids who are my heart and soul so I am doing this for me and for them..also I was diagnosed to hbp recently and I am on medication so before any other health problems arise I want to get this weight under control...thanks again and good luck to all

Don't worry, we will be here to keep you motivated every step of the way. I have to lose about 100 pounds as well. The last time I lost a significant amount of weight I found that keeping a photo journal of my weight-loss was a huge motivator for me. I did the before picture on the day I started and every week I would take another picture. When you step on the scale and see that you've lost 5 pounds in a week its motivating for the rest of the day but when you can look at a picture and see the weight-loss you can re-motivate yourself every day. When I did it I would post the picture from that week as my profile picture but I know not everyone is that comfortable, but even a personal photo record will be extremely motivational.0

that is a great idea...I don't like photo's of myself at all..usually only head shots lol..I can't wait to take more pics with my kids and be comfortable in them...this journey is long but well worth it...0
