General IBS confusion

So, milk and stress are my main triggers, I avoid certain other foods too, and minimise certain veg and gluten. ( I did FODMAPs and figured what works for me.) Exercise helps me manage it.
However, my question; What covers IBS-c? Basically it's not that I can't go- just my body is so slow to digest that I only need to go every 5-6 days. Doctor says that is fine and just part of my natural digestion, and that it's ok as that is what's normal for me.
I just feel like weight would be more easily trackable if I was more frequent. Basically I wanna know if simply slow digestion falls under IBS-c. My main symptoms were always agonising cramps and bloating, they were never really toilet based symptoms.

Coral_b- here is what I found on aboutibs.org:

People with IBS have abdominal discomfort or pain associated with their bowel habit. They may have symptoms that overlap with functional constipation. People with functional constipation may not have the abdominal pain of IBS. Or they may have less pain than with IBS. They would not have intervals of normal bowel habit and diarrhea with loose stools that can occur in IBS.
IBS with constipation is sometimes referred to as IBS-C or constipation-predominant IBS.

Perhaps you have a hard time digesting certain foods like dairy or gluten. Have you tried a digestive enzyme or a probiotic?

I have been having stomach problems since October. I have a history of acid reflux and a hiatal hernia. So when my stomach started really hurting (like some punching me continuously) between the ribs I called the dr. They double my nexium.
In December I ended up in the emergency room it was so bad. So they added yet another anti acid. After complaining som more they also put me on bentyl. Which is an antispasmodic. Not one time did anyone say change ur diet.
After a few days and no improvement I went to my primary who took me off of everything. Now I am having a major flare and figured out I can't eat rice, dairy and who knows what and so I am trying the bentyl again, but I read that it contains corn starch. Which is one of the things we aren't suppose to have isn't it?
So what can I do to calm my stomach down?

There are a couple of things you can try to calm your stomach. If you aren't feeling the meds are working maybe try an OTC product such as probiotics or digestive enzymes. I have noticed a vast improvement in the bloating since starting a probiotic, although gas still is a problem. Eliminating foods that cause you pain obviously is also a good idea. Peppermint tea or fennel tea has been shown to help, as well as caraway seeds. Sometimes a more herbal, natural approach might be better for people who struggle with meds.

I never had a problem going until I started dieting. So I have added 2- stool softeners( not laxatives) I am currently doing fodmap with no rice, no dairy and some other modifications. I am being tested for celiac and b-12. I have numbness and tingling in my hands in feet the last few months as well.
I don't feel myself that it is normal to go 5/6 days not having a bowel movent and this can cause discomfort. Are using miralax or a stool softeners.
