Stress Eating

Even after having VSG, we still have stress. Well, I do. I find today to be extremely difficult and I can't seem to end my "hunger"
1. I am 25 weeks preg, have a cluttered house, and feel like I have no room.
2. Husband suffers from PTSD and is having a rough patch right now. It seems no matter what I say or do, I am nagginghim or I am in the wrong.
3. He was off work for a few weeks and is now back and should have a check today for 4 weeks of work and....nothing. I have already spent my check on daycare assuming his would be there for gas, food, bills...you know, LIFE.
4. I am having extreme pain in my tailbone and will be seeing the chiropractor tonight, but I feel like I can't even relax because I have so much to do at home.
Today I just feel like the world is crushing me and I have no escape. I have eaten all of my calories for teh day, (most healthy options) I know I have eaten too much. I know I have eaten carbs. I know I have drank while eating, and I know that none of this helping with the stressors in my life.
Why do we do this to ourselves? Why is food so controlling and addictive?

Awe, I hear you life sux sometimes. Hang in there, you've got to look at the positives of how far you've come. Unfortunately life doesn't make it easier when it comes to food addiction. We see food EVERYWHERE! In your program are you able to put some time aside for yourself and get to a Behavior meeting? My program has those once a month. When I feel stressed I get to one. This new way of eating is tough because we love food, ( I know I do! you'll be in my prayers tonight and just try to put some time for yourself so you can reflect on the positive things that have happened. Good luck0
