R30 Week 3 Day 1

Well I did it... or at least played it all the way through. This is tough ladies! There's so much I couldn't do and after failing last week, this was a total blow. There's a standing stork to leg pull thing in the warm up that I couldn't even keep my balance on. My quads are crying, I couldn't even keep up with Shelly on somethings - - -the Rolling Rockstars or whatever they're called. I can't hop back up to my feet (hello fat roll!!!!) so I did 1 to their 2. By circuit 3 abs, I was done. Those raises don't hurt my abs, they hurt my arms and shoulders and I did alternating legs up for the pikes b/c I couldn't even do Shelly's. Oh well. I pushed play, I paused a lot to watch the moves and try them and did it through to the cool down.
I got 23 min this time. Warm up stops at 4 min, cool down starts at 27 min.

What the heck is this woman's problem!?!! Lol. The best thing about this is that it's over super quick. I feel dazed. I do prefer it week 2 though. It's very tough, but I think I'll have more of a problem dealing with the pace than the moves. Speaking of moves, there are some that I know have simply defeated me already: the rock n roll crunches, the jumping lunges and hop thingy. I've made my peace with it. Lol.
I guess I'll have to just suffer through the balance-y stuff. No improvement there from level 2.
I like the intensity and the fact that I'm feeling the burn from day 1 - not the case with week 2.0 -

Wowza. My legs are killing me.. Probably have to wait on the kb workouts until I get back from vacation... And Rach, I'm with you on those last ab holds. My arms hurt. I did kind of feel it in my abs, but mostly my arms. And the rock and roll, I'm slower than them, but I can do it. And I'm finally getting enough balance to do the stork moves. But those beginning animals walks.. Oh, I just wanted to kill her. LOL.0 -

Did you notice she skipped the 2nd squat hold in circuit one?
This one did go by super fast. I took quite a few breaks in the cardio... Dah!
off to get some extra in...

HA HA I noticed that too! Shelly was all about doing the move and she's like, nope, moving on to cardio. Oh well!
