A Walk-Out For Men

I know Leslie has done a one mile walk for men, but a longer walk(for the husbands, fathers, boyfriends and brothers in our lives)
might be a really good idea. I'm thinking Steve(Fast & Firm 4 Really Big Miles) and Nick(Party Songs and Radio Remixes) would
be good walk leaders, and I'd love to see a 5 miler. Maybe if they had their own DVD, they'd stop busting our chops so much!!!
What do you think? What features would you want to see in a men's DVD? What do the men in our lives think about a men's DVD?

I think Steve would be great!! I don't know if men like exercising to videos. I think they prefer the gym or outside. My hubby is unable to exercise to her videos but he does ride a recumbent bike.0

Way to GO for your hubby, Duda!!! I gave a male friend The Biggest Loser Bootcamp DVD and Chris Powell's first Extreme
Makeover Weight Loss Edition DVD. No idea what he thought of them...0 -
Hi Sue,
I have to say based on my DH that men for the most part don't care for workout dvd's. My DH prefers to walk and jog for his cardio workouts. He does appreciate that Leslie's workouts do get results though. But oh, he cannot stand Leslie's laugh, .
He admits that it's annoying that he can't workout when it rains, but still doesn't care for dvd's. He doesn't do any weight training. I would imagine that a lot of young men would be drawn to using dvd's like P90X but maybe not straight cardio. Not much here but my opinion. I hope some other people will comment about this.

This! My boyfriend hates Leslie's laugh and hates when she says "Walk, walk, walk."
I don't think the walk leader necessarily has to be male to encourage men to do the workout, but when the majority of the people in the DVD are female, I can see where they would think the workout is for women. So maybe just a more even mix of men and women in the workout.0 -
LOL OK, I have the oddball in the bunch because my husband LOVES working out with Leslie's videos. I bought Radio Remixes and I HATE it, but not him, he took it over and loves it. He put it up on his big flat screen TV and he walks away! He's lost 47 pounds and much of it was walking with Leslie. He loves women though and he thinks Leslie is very encouraging without being condescending. He did not take to Jillian Michaels' videos although he does have great respect for her. So some men do like videos if the leader fits them apparently.0

zibchab,
Love it! Congrat's to your DH! Fantastic work. You do have to find someone that inspires you. And someone who's voice isn't annoying, LOL!0 -

RisingAbove,
Have to say I agree. A more even mix would encourage more guys to try it.0
