I started playing a few months after launch and played as if it was a full-time job! I quit raiding towards mid-late WoTLK and then eventually quit playing completely.

I do, however, go back from time to time and actually subscribed again only last week to play with a RL friend.

I love WoW! My husband and I played for 7 years and loved it! We started raiding with Kara and stopped just after a few raids into MV. Cata really took it's toll on us and we just needed a break. We love MoP but was too burned out to continue. Our raiding days are done and we look back on those times with fondness. We made a lot of good friends and met a lot of wonderful players (along with not so wonderful ones) We plan on jumping back in soon when our rl plans slow down but just as casuals. Play for fun, run dungeons for fun not because we have to get our valor points for the day stuff. I miss it and want to play but I'm committed to my health and being a better wife and mom before I jump in again.

FitGeekery, I totally understand about the social aspect of it. After DH and I quit playing, two friends quit and then the guild fell apart. Yea, when we get back into the game it can be lonely but I do enjoy the solo time. I can do what I want, don't have to stop chat..etc. I get in, play and leave. I'm more of an introvert so the solo play style really suites me. Heck, DH and I have talked about starting on another realm where people don't know us and "return to our roots" so to speak. Go back 7 years ago when WoW was new to us and start totally over. No big sis to help with bags or gold. Totally do it from scratch.

I used to be a WoW addict, especially during the burning crusade and northrend. That's a big part of why I gained 30 pounds and eventually joined MFP. I definitely miss the game but don't have time to start playing again right now. Be careful, it's more addictive than crack!

I play a Human Warlock on Borean Tundra, but haven't been on much recently... after I 'killed' Garrosh, I started playing an alt, and then Christmas took me out of the game for a while, but I plan to go back soon.

I am seriously addicted to WoW! I play every single day if I have any free time. I got 3 90's on the Duskwood realm (tauren hunter, belf priest and belf mage...and almost have a belf pally at 90). I'm an altoholic it seems as well lol I got lots of toons that I play constantly so I'm surprised I have 3 90s. I usually raid mostly once I get my ilvl high enough on my 90s. Other than that, I quest and do randoms...I seriously suck at pvp so I'll stick with pve lol. If anyone wants to add me to their friends list, my battle id is spellweaver#1296. I might just see you on there. If I can pry myself away from farming multiplayer characters on Mass Effect 3, I might pick up playing again. I'd like to get all my toons to 90 on Duskwood before the next xpac.

I play every other week when I can. On Norgannon ((I think that's how you spell it)) I play my Human Monk, Tailax and my Dranei DK, Nikolana. I also have a Human Pally, Polygontus I like on Khaz'Goroth. Some horde on Rexxar.
