What's everyone having then? I'm going with old favourites lemon and sugar and golden syrup!

And... are our friends on the other side of the pond and elsewhere going to be confused by the sudden abundance of pancakes in our diaries lol?

I cheated and had mine at the weekend as I don't stick to calories at weekends

I had them stuffed with apple and blueberries and some mascarpone....yummy!

I will probably make American style pancakes with fresh blueberries, strawberries and bananas, drizzled with some honey...perfect!

This might sound disgusting to some but it's actually very good - mix 2 beaten eggs and a well mashed banana together, divide into 2 and place in frying pan. Tastes quite like pancakes.

I'm not sure I'll be having mine tonight. Just about to have some friends over, and Mrs. Robide is out tonight and tomorrow night, so I think we'll do Pancake Thursday instead!!

i cant make them, ive given up trying, persisted for a few years but have to admit defeat. therefore i had to buy pre made ones, a benefit of this is i only bought a pack of 6 to share between the four of us. cant go over board then.
I would have loved to have chopped banana, golden syrup, and a squirt of cream, but settled for lemon and sugar. our little asda had sold out of bananas otherwise i might have been tempted.
