Well - I decided to keep an "overall" table as well... a sort of Winter Omnium if you will

All the points for each individual event totalled up, giving the person who's spent most time and energy out there on the bike...

Would you belive we had a tie on points. Ultimately though, winter riding is about getting the base-miles in, so I feel that it's only fair that with a higher finishing position in both the Base Bullder and the Commuting challenge the Overall winner is...

Jakes1971

Combined table here - you may have to left-click to view it, it's a bit wide...

And that, folks, concludes the Winter Series of Challenges. Hope to see some of you over in the Classics Challenge over the next couple of months, and, if I'm around to organise 'em, maybe even the Grand Tour Challenges...

Well done Jakes1971 - close run thing with TBY though!

Well done to all the Winter Warriors who kept pedalling in one way or another :drinker:

That results tighter then nuns knickers! Thanks for organizing, was good taking part and thanks to this I now have a stable diet of 50km as standard for training rides which I aim to keep going.

Glad people found it to be a help in getting out there (or getting on the instrument of torture in Clive's case )...

If it's meant everyone rode 1 hour longer than they would have otherwise done, it's worth all the messing about

well - 51 years of experience here say's you'd be better off looking for Lord Lucan Riding Shergar whilst Drinking the Elixir of Life from the Holy Grail...

(it's the "non mental" bit I have problems with - probably because they need to be a bit mental to consider even talking to me in the first place...)
