I wanted you to know I am going in for reconstructive stomach surgery Monday morning at 6am. Surgery starts at 7am pst. I will taking tomorrow to hike and swim with my husband as 6 weeks of non activity will be a trial. I ask that you pray for me. As I am allergic to morphine and have a very bad reaction to anesthetic. When we had our daughter 3 years ago I got a staph and strep infection which almost cost me my life. They are going to go in and remove that scar and build up the tissue and then do a full tummy tuck. Although excited to see the results and to have that reminder of 100lbs lost gone but concerned about my severe reactions I face. Know that you are amazing and I believe in you. Love to you all and when I am feeling well enough to move I will post xo Love Tamara

We give you praise for your greatness and power; your love and grace; your wisdom and mercy. We thank you that you care about us so much that you know the number of hairs on our heads. Every one of us. Such knowledge is too much to comprehend. But we are grateful.
Forgive us Lord for the things we do that displease you.
I ask your special comforter to rest upon Tamara. You are the healing Spirit from which all wellness comes. We ask for Tamara to go into and come through the surgery on Monday with flying colors. Be with the doctors (especially the anesthetist), nurses and technicians that you will guide their minds and hands. Guide even the support staff --the people who clean the rooms, instruments and food trays etc. that things will be kept clean around her. Protect Tamara from germs and infection. Gird up her immune system with your power and bind the allergies from undermining her recovery.
She gives you praise and glory for her loss of 100 lbs. We echo her praise of you even while we congratulate her, too.
Bring success to her surgery that her testimony of your greatness will be another blessing to all who know her, for a worry free surgery will be an amazing miracle. We give you all the glory knowing that your intervention will bring her safely through all the challenges to her body.
Last we ask for the peace that goes beyond understanding to surround Tamara. Give her a complete confidence in the doctors et al because of her confidence in you, dear Lord. Bless her with calm and assurance that others might see her testimony of your power and she will be a witness of you to nurses and doctors alike.
We thank you for Tamara and all her visions of service to you. Bless her family, too, with confidence and assurance.
