Found this article on research into Fibromyalgia. Its another theory into what causes it and the possible cure. Maybe one day with lots of research they may find a cure. http://www.prohealth.com/library/showarticle.cfm?libid=18809

    Thank you for posting this.

    I found it a very interesting read. It seems promising. It will be good to read the final report on the extended trial due out in the summer. I fear it will be lost in a pile with all the other promising reports. It is well understood the herpes/chickenpox virus will go into hiding to bring about shingles at a later date when the persons immune system is compromised so why not FM.

    I fear here in the UK the health service is under so much financial pressure that hopeful treatments will never get permission to be tried here.

    As for me I'm tired of theories why don't they start doing real research about FM? all those problems and more drugs.. I'm out, I refuse taking more drugs until they find out what's actually causing all this fatigue, and abdominal pains etc.
