I am associated with a veterans group, Team Red, White and Blue (www.teamrwb.org). This group helps veterans suffering from PTSD or disabilities connect with their community through running and exercise. They will be running the Run for the Tropps 5K in Andover, MA on April 6th. Team RWB has created a group and extended an invitation to all family and friends. Any team over 20 gets personalized shirts (if registered by March 19th) and the group with the most members will get additional prizes.

If you are interested, the website for the race is: http://www.runforthetroops5k.com/. If you decide to register, the team name is TEAMRWB. Hope to see some of you there!

I may need some support  I'm so afraid it's going to feel like starting from scratch again!

I hear you! But if you run with me the first time, I guarantee you it will be an ego booster! haha. I run like a turtle running through peanut butter. ;-)

I guess we missed each other, but what did you think of the course?

Yea sorry I was there but got there late and pretty much registered and went straight to the starting line. It was a good course. It's the first 5k that I wasn't wondering when it was gonna be over. The only "hard" part was dodging all the walkers that lined up in front of the line!

haha yea, that annoyed me. I got behind the "baby stroller" brigade at the start. I was finally able to get past them though. I really liked that course and loved how fast that last hill was. I'm going to do this one again next year!
