    Hi!

One serving of fruit should be between 15-20 grams of carbohydrate. Bananas are a higher glycemic fruit and aren't as good for weight loss as some of the other choices. You can definitely add banana to your fruit list if you like but it should be eaten BEFORE noon. A 7" banana has 27grams of carbohydrate so eating 1/2 to 3/4 would put you in your carb zone.

As far as kiwi goes, it is a fine choice and probably didn't make the list because they are not a common fruit choice for most people. A medium sized kiwi that has a 2" diameter is about 8.6grams of carbs so about 2 kiwi would be a serving.

    Enjoy your banana and kiwi!

Thank you. I usually eat a banana in the morning before crossfit and especially before a run. And I love kiwi.
