Any of you ladies Vegans? Looking for your tips and tricks about vegan friendly stores/resturants/hot spots you like in Johnson County.

    Vegan in Overland Park/Leawood here. :) I do a lot of shopping at the Whole Foods. I also love love love Cafe Gratitude, which is downtown, and Alladin's Cafe in Westport (yum Greek food). Everything else is just knowing how to work it at all the "normal" places. :P Chipotle is always my go-to for cheat noms.

    As for Johnson County itself, I cannot think of anything.

    I'm a vegan living in KCK. I shop at the HyVee in Mission, and it has a big (for a normal grocery store) health food section with a lot of vegan offerings. I'm pretty sure it's cheaper than Whole Foods, which I love also. You can also vegan snacks at Target and Costco. You just have to read labels. I'm sort of currently into Annie Chun's Seaweed Snacks (sold most anywhere). I don't have any restaurant tips other than I can usually be creative and get something vegan at almost any restaurant.
