I was sleeved 12/10/13, and so far I have lost 54 lbs and I feel great . . . I get 80-100 proteins a day, 100 carbs per day, and usually can get my liquids in. I am at the gym 4-5 times a week, and I am really trying to reap the benefits of this second chance I have been given.

I am really looking for some folks on MFP that can do more than just push the like button . . .I don't have a lot of friends on here, but that's becasue I interact with folks almost on a daily basis . . .providing support, challenging folks, and just having fun.

I am wondering if anyone else is thinking they would like to have that kind of support, or be that kind of support to someone still learning the ropes. If so, friend me . . .it would be nice to get to know some new people and learn from others.

Hope you are all having a good day!
Suzanne

Well Hello sounds like we should be sisters in this I had my surgery the same date 12/10/13, I have lost 61lbs to date. I go to the Gym 4-5 times a week for an hour of HARD work each time. My motto is put your head down and rock it..... I agree this is a second chance, I am had a hard day yesterday and ate too fast, as I am a punisher and actually working one FT and one PT job right now during tax season. So getting all this other activities in for me can be tough. But yesterday worked 6 hours on Sunday, was tired and hungry when I got home and cooked one of my pre-made turkey burgers with cheese with some asparagus I had made the night before but ate way too fast and needless to say spent the rest of the night paying for it. So I still get reminded at times I am not a real girl anymore. But I am down to a size 14 started at a 22 so that is AWESOME. For me I know the gym works and I have to be diligent in going or I will slack off the scale. I am still having monthly and those effective my stalls as well. So I guess that is enough about me for now. Any food suggestions you have that have worked. I love the small Wendy's chili for my fast food go to meal while out and cannot get home or to a store.

I was sleeved 10-14-13 and am down over 70 lbs! (I count from Sept, my consult date when I really got onboard with losing). Work out 5+ days per week 600+calories each and log every bite. If I don't, I under eat, not just calories but nutritionally. Down to a size 8 and still have 27lbs to go. Headed for an even 100lb loss to land at 135. Feeling Fantastic too!

    Hi Ladies,

I'd really like to have some support to and just joined MFP. I just had sleeve surgery on 2-26-2014 (so only five weeks ago). I managed to lose 35 lbs. in my first month and 10 inches, but I have not lost any weight in the past week, which freaked me out a bit. I'm still struggling to get in all my water and also to make exercise a daily habit, but I'm trying. I find it hard to keep up with post in the forums and groups, but would be happy to share in daily updates and messages.

    Elizabeth
