I did today. I hated to do it but I couldn't sit back and watch her starve herself and read the comments that encouraged her. I don't know if she is just looking for attention as she is under weight to begin with or if she has an emotional problem, but I can't watch her hurt herself in the name of losing weight.
yes I know I am eating 1000-1200 calories a day, however I am under a drs care for it and being monitored. Just saw my dr Friday and he was very happy with the way things are going.
I know everyone "diets" differently, but I just can't watch it anymore.

It's not an easy thing to do when they are an active member. I will unfriend when they are gone (without a hall pass LOL) for more
than three weeks.
I have a few friends that are in the low calorie range and I can't support that unless like you they are doing it for medical (or the fact they are 5'0"). It's not up to me to be the calorie police but when you see someone just playing havoc with their health you have to walk away. Hopefully someone "in real life" will talk to them.

I am 5'1"..and under a drs care. I need people that are positive in this journey. I hated to unfriend her but better to do that then say something wrong.0

See it's difficult for someone like me (5'7") to wrap my brain around the fact that people like my auntie (4'10") needs less
calorie. Sounds like you are doing this smart and healthy. Me personally if I eat less than 1600 calories a day I just can't
function. Back in the early 80's I did this still stupid diet eating about 800 calories a day, plus the expensive supplements
they gave me and oh I had to pee on a stick once a week to make sure I didn't die. It was awful and I believe it is what
set me on this roller coaster diet lifestyle disaster for the last 30+ years.
Now we are older and smarter -- let's do this together.

being short I don't need as much I guess..lol..I find that 1200 and over I don't lose weight at all. so I talked to my drs I have 2 of them following me, my endo for my thyroid and my pcp. I did labs and saw my dr Friday. so far they are both happy.
as my exercise goes up I will eat back more calories if I am hungry but I am trying to get in a good amount of protein in the day.
I am in no way trying to starve myself at all, I just wnt to lose the weight and as you can see my progress has dropped to 1 lb a week, ughhhh and I have been good. I tried to go to 1200 and stopped losing weight.
I have medical issue with my secum as well so smaller meals are better for me to digest.0 -
I unfriended someone because all their photos were very clearly trying to get attention and were sexual in nature. This isn't the place for that and I am here to be serious about my weight loss and journey back to good health. I decided that wasn't the kind of person I needed in my circle on this journey so I removed them.0

Oh my, that must have been very difficult I have very few friend's here, so I treasure the one's I do have. You have to do what you have to do for your own mental health.0
