Mounting tips?

I know I have to be fit to ride well. I am a new MFP. My horses are amazing; much farther in the Parelli journey than I deserve. I know I cannot mount well when I am carrying this much weight (poor horse, right?). I would like to start some exercises now that will help me in the long run. Any suggestions?

    I'm going to start doing yoga stretches and more stretches... if you're looking for basic exercises to strengthen muscles try doing some core exercises - this will give you a more balanced feel, but don't overdue them. you don't want to kill yourself doing crunches and stuff - I just sit in a chair and do sitting crunches and lateral crunches to start out. Dont forget to stretch those ankles too, and some calf raises also.
