New to MFP and 5:2

Hi

I've just started on MFP and I'm also starting the 5:2 diet. I'd be interested to know what others put as their goals/settings for MFP. I put weight loss and MFP suggested 1,200 cal a day. I think what I'd prefer to do, is put the settings to maintain weight, but then restrict myself to 500 cal on the "fasting" days.

What does anyone else do please?

    Just joined this group.
    I set 1200 per day i MFP and then eat only 500 monday and wednesday. Sounds like what you will be doing :)
    Started 1 febr and lost 7 kg in 8 weeks. Now standing still for 4 weeks but will start again today.
    Hope you find a way!
