Did my first ever dead lifts today. :)

So, I've been seeing a trainer at a private studio for about 3 months and decided I wanted to join an actual gym that I could go to more than once a week.

I have a new trainer there at the gym (gonna see him once a week for 8 sessions then I'm on my own) and am starting the Stronglifts program on Monday. I saw my trainer today and luckily he had me doing dead lifts as part of the circuit! I'm familiar with all the other lifts, but had never done a dead lift.

Now I'm happy to say that I can start out at 95 pounds like the program states.

Thank you! I'm really excited. I'd started lifting heavier in the past month and my body changed pretty quickly.

    1) A huge feeling of awesomeness and badassery

    2) A stronger lower back, stronger legs and a stronger core... You need all those muscle groups to stabilize the weight and lift it off the ground.

    Welcome!
