Weekly Weigh In: 4/26 to 5/2

There have been questions about keeping this group going past summer, and I'd be totally up for it. Summer will be here in the northern hemisphere in less than two months!
This week, I maintained, but I've been having quick losses to until now. It still works out to more than my one pound a week goal. My stomach and waist are looking smaller. Maybe a quarter of an inch is gone from my waist, but that's where I notice losses first.
So I'm still down to about 141.5 from the 154 i was in February. My skinny pants fit, but they're still tight.

I didn't post my weight last Saturday because I had a lot going on and basically stress ate my way through about 10 days. ugh...So, my # went way up, but some of that had to be water weight and it's going back down now.
Starting weight: 148.6 (Jan 1)
W 1: 135.6 (joined this group Feb 22)
W 8: 131.4
W 9: 136.2
W 10: 133.6
I was so close to being <130, but I'm still 15 lbs down from the beginning of the year. It's just going to take me a little while longer to get to where I want to be.
I'm up for keeping this group going past summer. I think I'm going to need the accountability/motivation to keep going and then maintain once I get there.0 -

I seem to be on a mini plateau around 135 these days... Hope it goes down soon.0 -

So now it's apparently my turn to have a family member in the hospital (my dad is waiting to have a triple bypass, but the surgery keeps getting bumped)... my mother is staying with me (as they live out of town), and I am driving her to the hospital on my way to work each day. Between this and my kids being sick, I haven't worked out since Wednesday and only did strength training once last week, but I know that is the least of my worries and this too shall pass!

No surprise I stalled... the surprising thing to me is that I weighed myself this morning and I appear to be down more, but we'll see if that sticks. Maybe stress and unintentional "calorie cycling" has attributed to that weight loss!
I would love to continue with this group - and I would also love to have some MFP friends if anyone would like to add me! Just don't judge my food diary this past week too harshly!0 -
April has not been an easy month for a lot of people. Sorry to hear about your dad's surgery.
Anyone can add me as a friend, too. I'm on an 80 day steak, even with my less than perfect choices lately.0 -
I'd be up for keeping this up past summer,this has been a great board to keep up with and it feels good to be in on a group goal! Hopefully by then I'll be at a good place to maintain.

I weighed myself on my sister's scale Saturday and saw 137.9 but didn't believe it. Today I'm @ 140lbs. so tune in next week0 -

This week its 166.8 after ending April at 167.
Hopefully this month is better0
