My name is Heather and I will be starting the lean version of P90X with my boyfriend, Tyler, on May 5th! We are 20/21 years old, out of shape and ready for a life change. Anyone else starting around this time?

Hi Heather! I Just started on p90x Monday. So I'm Brand new as well, (Today is day 3) And may need some encouragement - I've played around with the Workouts before but never committed to doing it everyday. My husband injured his back , So I'm going at this alone this time
I'm sticking to the Classic Schedule But modifying some of the exercises as I need to. How about you guys?0 -
We are starting tomorrow! We decided to do the lean version, Its just more cardio/less weight lifting. We went grocery shopping yesterday and bought all of the stuff to follow the diet and it actually sounds pretty yummy We are both full time students/work full time so its going to be different to be cooking instead of eating fast food so much!
How was your first week? If you drink a Gatorade afterwords and do it in the morning do you still get pretty sore??0 -
Thats great Heather, I work out in the morning, and have a milk based protien shake (with glutemine) after my work out, the first couple days I was sore, but about what I expected. Starting some thing new. I haven't been following the diet yet. Will be adding it in another week later But I eat mostlypretty clean, and focus on protien. I've had to replace the plyometrics with other cardio because it too hard on my knee that I injured snowboarding years ago. I'll make other adjustments as I feel I should, same with some of the more complex moves, I simplfy to work the same muscles but with better form. let me know how the diet goes, Im trying to figure out how to work it into my life with the husband and step son it kinda a crazy to try to plan.0
