Protein Shakes

Hi.... I had my surgery exactly 1 week ago and I'm having a hard time finding a good protein shake. I've been drinking Isopure Protein Shakes and I feel like it leaves an after taste. Can somebody suggest a good protein shake??? Thanks!

When I was doing the shake thing, I preferred Unjury brand for my shakes. They have 2 flavors of chocolate, vanilla, unflavored, chicken soup, and a strawberry sorbet flavor. You might also check out Nikki Massie's books available on Amazon in both e-book form or paper back. It's how to make the perfect protein shake, and has lots of recipes. Also go to her web site and face and facebook page, www.BariatricFoodie.com. Also check out the website TheWorldAccordingtoEggface.com. Good stuff there as well.

My favorite is the chocolate i get from walmart. I add a tblsp of creamy peanut butter... Heaven!
  • So far the unjury chicken and chocolate premier. I got the unjury from my NUT and the premier protein is sold at Costco...I really like the single serves although the dispensing method could be a bit handier.

Premier protein 30g protein shakes at SAMs club. Case comes out to about $18. Nice and thin not thick and gaggy. Decent taste. Kroger carbmaster vanilla skim milk 11g a cup/60 calories yummy taste.
I couldn't stand my Unjury strawberry after surgery and gave it away at support group.
