Using Measurements and not sure what to do

OK, so I started roller derby last year and that along with my other work outs do ALOT of squats so my ample behind has gotten higher (noticably). Well, I am trying to use my measurements as progress, but my hip measurement has gotten an inch larger because more of my butt is up there, lol. I am just taking it as a good sign, but it is confusing in the arena of progress. Any of you guys have similar issues? Geek Love.

I believe you're supposed to take your "hip" measurement at the widest part of your butt, even if it was quite far down. I wouldn't worry about it too much, as more muscle is definitely a good thing!0
