Love cooking your favorite food from home? Want to share with fellow expats from the same country (or others)? Post!

I'll go first! If you have access to American ingredients or similar and LOVE CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES, I found an awesome comparison guide to the best chips. I'll be using it for midsummer's festival! :drinker:

I am always looking for ways to cook with only my mini toaster oven.....boy do I miss the real thing! But I have found a good way to make sweet potato fries. I live alone so I only cook one potato at a time and it is perfect. These fries are not crispy crispy, but more like melt in your mouth :)

    Ingredients:

1 medium sweet potato (cut in strips with skin on)
    1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon of salt and pepper blend
    1/2 tablespoon of olive oil

Now my oven doesn't have a temperature setting, its one of those basic old school time dials lol. So the time for you could be different.

I cook them for about 12-14 minutes and flip them halfway. YUM YUM :)
