I Happen to be a big fan of protein powders & use them any time I can to get a high protein intake. What is your opinion on them & if you do use them, what do you make with protein powder?

i use protein powder for breakky and dessert at night. not exciting but i like it! However, I make my own jerky and use it as a carb-snack substitute! Partial freeze your fat-free meat ( I like turkey, beef or even kangaroo!!!! lol) slice as thin as possible. Marinade in garlic, soy sauce, even curry powder, even a dash of maple syrup. I use baking paper on an oven tray, lay it out evenly and place in an oven at 75 deg c. (no lower than 60 deg c). give it a few hours, flip it over. I like it dry dry. protein isn't converted to fat like carbs so if it replaces a carb snack - bonus.0

I use protein powder too. I lift weights so I have to keep my protein intake in check. I invested in Anabolic Halo in the Cherry Explosion flavor for my regular protein shakes (20 grams per scoop) and the Target brand for baking purposes (I make a lot of protein pancakes/waffles/homemade bread/homemade protein bars).0
