Confused.

Hi everyone,
I'm a little confused... I have been wearing my UP however I'm unsure how to log my gym workouts. I usually use a HRM and there seems to be no manual way to enter calories on the app. On the flip side of you log the workout in MFP it isn't reflected on the app.
Anyone know a smart way around this?
Thanks x

I use www.mapmyfitness.com to log workouts. They let you enter all the data you mention (and more). If you link your account to UP it will automatically create a workout in UP with approximately the same calories (I've noticed it isn't always exactly the same).

Just don't link MapMyFitness to MyFitnessPal and UP or it will log your workouts twice!

No need to log step-based activity. That's what your Jawbone calorie adjustment is for. Non-step workouts (like swimming or biking) can be logged either in Jawbone or in MFP—never both.

To use your HRM burns, log in MFP. You're asked for start & end times, and MFP overrides your step data during your workout.

Edited to add that if you've linked your accounts at http://www.myfitnesspal.com/apps/show/97 then workouts should sync both ways, from Jawbone to MFP & from MFP to Jawbone. Food only goes one way, from MFP to Jawbone.
