Hi everyone,
I am 38 years old and was diagnosed with PCOS 6 years ago. I have had some weight loss success but if I cheat even with one item, I gain back. I am just wondering how many carbs do you all eat? Can you give me an example of what you all eat daily? Thanks so much!

I personally don't eat more than 60g of carbs a day. But you have to find what works for you.
    My day usually goes
    Homemade muffin or fried eggs
    salad or meat and veggies
pepperoni chips, almonds, etc (something simple as I'm still at work for p.m. snack)
veggie, meat, and small carb (usually all my carbs come from fruit and veggies but sometimes i'll get in a starch that otherwise wouldn't eat. IE pasta, or potatoes.)
snack usually is yogurt or fruit (depending on sugar level; I base my nite snack on blood glucose level; diabetic)

anyways my meals vary day to day. I did notice that when cutting out Processed stuff but once a week I've felt better and have lost less hair and hormone levels seem balanced more. Good luck on your journey I know its not easy but you'll get there. :drinker:

Due to family/life major stresses, i havent been logging hardly at all recently but when i do i eat pretty low carb, try for under 50g net a day.

Breakfast is usually eggs in an omelet with bell pepper, onions, mushrooms, cheese and avocado.
Sides include bacon, sausage or greek yogurt
    German 'pancakes' made without flour.

Lunch is often cottage cheese, or greek yogurt if i didnt have it for breakfast, with some cashews or other nuts.
Sometimes a couple tbsp of peanut butter
    A slice of cheese

Supper is usually from one of my low carb cookbooks, but things like Honey mustard ham, brussel sprouts with bacon, broccoli and cheese soup, lemon pepper chicken, pork carnitas, mu shu pork, etc

We use a lot of cauliflower for riced cauliflower, or mashed 'potato' cauliflower, a steamed veggie under a yummy cheese sauce, etc

for dessert I do ricotta with some baking chocolate and sweetner, or cream cheese clouds.

it takes a little work to figure out what you can eat and what you like to eat. Low carb is a life style, not a diet so its something you constantly tweak to fit into your life style.

My endocrinologist just adjusted my numbers. My basic calories are around 1500, plus 300-650 exercise calories most days (doc agreed with setting my level at sedentary so I can feel the satisfaction of my exercise calories having such impact), as assigned by MFP - endo agreed. He said to make my carbs 25%, protein between 30-50% (higher for weight loss), and my fat the remaining balance (25%-45%). So far, I'm doing okay. The additional fat is helping the sugar cravings significantly, but I had a major off the wagon weekend, and I can FEEL it...everywhere. Whelp, back on it this week and going forward, as that was just crazy... Best of luck to you.

I don't have any set specifics of meals, etc., as I'm only a few weeks in on modified numbers....

I'm new to this all too but I have set mine to 15% carbs as a goal. For me it doesn't matter if I go over that but I set it low to give me something to target. So this is ~50g-70g/day and I am definitely getting better at keeping it low. Some days its around 100g but I don't mind. I don't know how much it is affecting my weightloss but I feel better and the weight is coming off easily so I am sticking to it as much as possible.
I am very interested to see what other people are doing in this regard.

    Good luck :)
