ok we're kicking off Brazil v Croatia in just under 2 hours. i figure a single thread to lose our collective ****e would be a good thing.
so - predictions? team spirit? or once the games kick off, match talk? GO FOR IT!
i'll jump off - i'm just hoping USA makes it out of the groups. Germany and Portugal are so strong this year, and while on paper Ghana has a terrible team this year, historically they beat us. so i'm worried. but that's what i would love to see.
my prediction for the overall winner is Portugal. i would say Brazil, but they've got all the pressure being home team, so i'm not sure they won't tank in groups.
