For my birthday yesterday, my little sister (the one who convinced me to stick with Doctor Who instead of giving up after the first three or four episodes) gave me a Doctor Who card game based on the Eleventh Doctor, so the four "defenders" are Eleven, Amy, Rory, and River. Tonight I was reading through the instructions and they give examples of possible game situations. In the first scenario the players' names were Karen and Matt but somehow it didn't "click" for me, then the next scenario had Karen and Arthur... I felt silly for not realizing immediately that they were the names of the actors! Of course, Alex was in the next scenario, making the four "example" players Matt, Karen, Arthur, and Alex. Made me chuckle. Only problem is the game requires a minimum of 3 people! Think we could teach the dog to play...?0

My mom was over just now and I turned on "Night Terrors" in season 6, thinking 4-year-old Genevieve never pays any attention. She tells her Grandma "I love Doctor Who. This is where the fire starts." Just then the credits screen turns to flames right after Karen Gillan's name. I'm so proud right now.0

I was just gonna post a random Whovian sighting in the wild. So many ways to show the love. I dispensed eyeglasses to a gal with a beautiful tattoo made up of circular Gallifreyan. I totally geeked out on her but she seemed to take it in stride while some lab tech was all in her business gasping "Wow, is that Gallifreyan?!"
I'm a little obsessed with art of circular Gallifreyan.
I thought I was done at two tats, but maybe....
Oh well, back to point. I was looking for pics of Gallifreyan and had my mind blown....lol. It all makes sense now.
