Check-in Post for Week of June 15th to June 21st, 2014

Good morning, all!

What a day yesterday was! I woke up Friday afternoon at 2:30 pm, stayed up all day, and then went to work. Saturday morning I didn't go to bed when I got home because I had promised to take the kids to a monthly workshop that didn't start until 10 am. We went to the workshop and came home, but by then I just couldn't sleep. So I stayed up. I didn't end up going to bed until 10:30 pm last night. But boy, did I crash then!

Anyway, I am up now and doing laundry because my work week starts again tonight. Oy! There doesn't seem to be a break, these days. I can't wait until next weekend...not only will I have two days off (I am NOT agreeing to another overtime shift!) but we are having friends over for a BBQ to celebrate Justin's birthday.

But back on topic...

I want to try something different this week, because I get really annoyed with myself when I forget to post the daily check in post. So I am going to create a Check-In Post for the WEEK. Post all of your mileage, exercise, notes, etc. on the one thread and then I will add everything up all at once on Sunday morning. Let me know if you have a problem with this, or another solution. :)

So without further adieu...

Our current numbers are: 510.61 miles/821.75 kilometers

So if the world has a circumference of 40,075.16 kilometers (24,901.55 miles). We still have 24390.94 miles/39253.41 kilometers to go!

    Decent night at work last night. We are getting ready to do inventory in 3 days so things are kind of tense among the management. I'll be glad when it's over. :)

    Nope, sounds good to me! Actually, it'll help me track my week total easier, since the whole week can be found in just one spot. =)

    (M) June 16th: 6 miles biking, 3 miles walking
    (T) June 17th: 6 miles biking, 3 miles walking (again, lol)

    It did!!! Although it is apparently going to start again tomorrow and keep going all weekend (boo). And you know me and rain (or snow or anything colder than zero degrees). We don't mix so well :)

    As for today, however...

    Walk = 10.16 km

    June 19: 8 miles (biking), 2 miles (walking)

    *The path I usually take to bike to work was closed for construction and fallen trees from the storm last night... Only way to get to work was to backtrack and go around, adding on about an extra mile to my usual routine. After the 2 hours of bowling last night, though, (after not having done so in a year or two) my legs are so sore.
