Hi ladies,

Question for you?? Would anyone be interested in a clothing swap? My family is trying to do a huge yard sale in OCT, (I believe) and I have a bunch of clothes that I plan on getting ride of. I currently wear anything from a large 22-24 (french laundry, I believe in the maker and faded glory from Wal-Mart) to a 26-28. I have 30-32 that I will be getting rid of. Some are summer and some will be winter. I know that buying new clothes can be a pain in the butt and expensive. Did not know if anyone would be interested. The only request I make is the the person they are being shipped to pays the shipping..... the clothes would be free.

Anyone interested??

Ah shame, I actually just did a wardrobe sort out a couple of weeks ago and sent all of my stuff that is now too big to a charity shop so I have nothing to give away. Great idea though!
  • I think this is a great idea. I was actually planning to post on fb to find out if anyone wants my clothes each time I move down a size. If I get rid of them I can't "slip" back into them and I refuse to buy bigger clothes again. ever. I'm just starting on this journey and I haven't dropped a size yet. I'm def interested in donating to anyone as I go down in sizes. Why pay for new clothes when you are committed to not needing them for long?

I actually started a group on here call Thinner Threads with a friend for this very same idea. You might check it out if you have time. We're getting started slowly, but trying to make some connections. I will tell you though, when I recently sold some 5X stuff on my local Facebook Buy-Sell-Trade page, I was surprised how many folks wanted to buy it!!! Just because that size is so hard to find, I guess. I need to go through my clothes again, because I have a few 26/28's I absolutely cannot wear, so I need to repost on Thinner Threads. Here is the link:

And you get to dictate the terms of your transaction (they pay shipping, clothes are free, etc.). Good luck connecting!
