K - so we're half a month into the summer challenge - but there is still time to join us and to ROCK the challenge.
We have two goals for over the summer - one is to lose weight and one is to move.
The personal goal will be however much you want to weigh on August 31st. That's a Sunday when our group does our weigh ins. If you weigh in on a different day, pick the date closest to the 31st.
Our group goal will be to move 55 km. A mini goal is 4 km / week. Plus an extra 3 km since I added that amount on for the Alzheimers Walk that our group took part in.
Again - the focus is on movement . . . So I don't care HOW you move, as long as you move.

Two weeks in....
1) GET UP AND MOVE GOAL - 55 km

After speaking with a few of the members who are updating me on their progress, we feel that 50 km is too easy for the summer challenge. We've upped it to 100 km.
For progress sake - I have currently moved 50 km so I have another 50 to go. My goal weight is 133.5. I'm currently at 135.4. So - I'm doing well and can most likely make that goal. My struggle is to KEEP the weight off so I'll decide mid July if I want to change my goal weight for the end of the summer.
