Snack options

Hi all,

I've just started Isagenix (day 2) and I think I might be hungry 'cuz my dog is looking like a big chicken drumstick right about now! My coach hasn't really given me a whole lot of info on snacks (IsaSnacks!, apple, celery, 6 almonds... ) but I am really hungry. I know I'm supposed to break the habit of constantly eating, and I'm sure after a few more days it will get easier. I just wonder if any of you have been through this on the 30 day program and have any ideas for snacks that will help me not eat my dog? (kidding! I love my dog!) Does it get easier??

Thanks in advance!

Hi! Ha ha I hear ya on the "wanting to eat the dog" thing. :) My chihuahua has been looking like a roasted chicken lately, especially after my first "cleanse" day yesterday! I am also new to Isagenix 30-day (I am on day 5) and learning not to snack between meals is really, really difficult for me. I am a foodie and feel like I graze all day long. I am thinking that with anything, it is about forming the habit and getting your body reprogrammed to do things differently. I will say that I am feeling really good (except for being hungry - well, I wouldn't even say hungry - just like I have the munchies and want to eat) so I know my body must be getting what it needs.

I would just go into your day as prepared as possible. I have been "decking out" my shakes to make them more appealing and satisfying (today I added a cup of raw spinach and a handful of cherries to my chocolate smoothie and it was amazing, I try to change it up every time so it doesn't feel monotonous). I also grab a piece of fruit or a handful of almonds to take with me, along with one of those "Want More Energy" Isagenix powders to get me through if I am just not going to make it to the next meal without chewing an arm off.

Also, drinking tons of water helps calm the desire to chow and makes me feel fuller longer. Hope this helps! Good luck!

I'm sorry to hear your Coach hasn't given you very many good ideas/options. Here are some links that I have found helpful, and that I've sharing with prospective clients:
