Starting week 1 today!

Hi everyone -- So I used to be in much better shape and thought this would be a good way to jump back into it!

The only caveat for me is that I will be eating Paleo 80/20 instead of following the Ripped In 30 meal plan. Does everyone here follow her meal plan to a T? It seams like its not terrible but I just prefer Paleo, Has anyone tried this with a Paleo lifestyle?

Thanks!

EDITED: I wanted to change the topic to Paleo & Ripped in 30 but I cannot figure out how to change the topic. Thanks for your replies!

I have no intentions of following her meal plan. For me that is a diet and I won't be able to eat what someone else tells me to eat. I've already done this once and lost 10 pounds. I'm going to do it again but less religiously, this time. I do like it though...

The first time I did this program, I did it religously 5-6 days a week but for 40 days or so. I stayed at a level either for 10 tries or until I felt I deserved to try the next one. This time I'm doing week one until I tire of it or am able to do the more difficult moves, then I'll move on. I also do the kickbox fastfix dvd. I love this one and burn way more calories. I rarely do it completely, but alternate one of the three workouts with "Ripped", to burn more and still come in under and hour with all the warm-ups and cool-downs. I try to exercise at least three times a week. More than that and I start losing again and I don't want that right yet. I want to wear my new clothes a little longer before they get too big again,,

I'm on day 2, so I think we're on the same schedule. YAY!! I also started something like paleo. I quit most carbs, but am still eating a banana or apple after my workouts. I need the quick energy or I wouldn't make it!
