I also took a small stop to move water bottles. I was on the bridge that crosses the Gila River. This picture is taken when the river is in its flood stage, which is the same condition of just about all the other "rivers" in Phoenix

    I did it 4 times. I think my best time was about 2:10 and my worst about 2:35. But I was never rushing and stopped for a cafe at Chalet Renard. It's a hard climb because it's just long and until Chalet Renard there is no let up.

    I'd definitely like to climb it again, I was about 225lbs when I did it last and am under 200 now and in better climbing shape :)

    Awesome picture. I did one similar in St. Augustine FL where they had a fish eye mirror looking at a light house.

    I'm I the same boat. I can't get a pix to save my life and I don't upload to photobucket. If you have a photobucket, tho, you can upload to here from there...but I can't figure out how to keep photobucket private. :ohwell:

    I couldnt figure out photo bucket or the other one, so I just got a free website and upload my pictures there. Then I just put the url in my posts here.

    Love these!

    Did a tri on a naval base a few weeks ago and we rode past the shipyards. I thought about how awesome it would be to have a pic of me riding in front of the massive navy ships..... I didn't bring my phone along to do it though!
