I have been doing 2 HITT workouts a week on opposite days of weight training. But I have heard recently that it should be done on weight days. I have always done it this way but now I am unsure if it is correct?

I do HIIT on my non-weight training days because I usually don't have the energy to do both on the same day. I don't think it really matters - I've heard people do HIIT right after lifting or they do it on separate days. Whatever feels most comfortable for you!

I always do my HIIT on non lifting days...and cardio too...unless it's a light walk after lifting.

Normally after HIIT (esp on my bike) I just want to be still for 30mins...

I have energy after my weight lifting but.....it's a time thing. I like having time with my family in the evening so...

I like to spend time with my family too and I work out in the evening at home. I have everything I need at home but I am thinking a gym membership is next for me so I can workout on my lunch hour.

Yah I have a one month trial at our local gym I have yet to turn in...not keen on it as it's for me and my husband and I don't think he wants to workout atm...

I love working out at home as it's not like I am "gone" so we can still chat etc...or he spots me...or my son does (until he gets his own place anyway...*does the happy dance*)

working out on lunch breaks sounds almost intriging tho esp weights as I don't "sweat" a whole lot...hmmm something to think about.
