Ooh great stuff! I have the second one pinned to make someday. So many patterns, too little time, right?

If only I didn't have to work a real job! The second one I designed in EQ7 with leftover HST units I had from the doggie commission quilt. I debated on the border for a while. The string border took lots of time to do but was worth it I think.

Your quilts are beautiful. How long have you been quilting?

Couldn't believe your quilt find. Will you repair it yourself?

I've been quilting 3-4 years I think? But I started sewing in junior high, never thought I'd be interested in quilting back then!

Yep, I'm going to repair it myself, it really just has a few blocks around the edges that need to be tacked down with a couple stitches, and then maybe 3 blocks that are slightly shredded. Not quite sure how I'm going to fix those, but I'm hosting sewing night at my house tonight and figure I can get some advice from some more accomplished friends :)

Love all the quilts! I am a stay at home mom in MN and love to quilt. This is the first year both of my kids are in school all day and I have been wanting to prioritize myself and lose a bit of weight and get in shape. I was a bit distracted with home improvement projects this fall but now that most of those are done and the weather here is slightly warming up, I want to focus on myself and some productive sewing.

Those of you that mentioned flickr ids I've added as contacts on flickr... I can be found as badlandsquilts.

Hoping this picture (code) works. This is one of our last quilts. We sew pretty simply and really get into scrap quilts and handling leftovers - making them new again. I would love it if others found us here and started showing some of their pictures too. My specialty is pictures of quilts in progress ... think its a long-learned tradition to "be doing" instead of always "having done." One way or another, I'd sure like to meet other quilters out there going through this sedentary work :)

    Our best,
    Ann

2014-05-17%2014.00.34.jpgNope it didn't work ... please someone come and show me how it's done?

New to this site but long time quilter. I hope to get to know all of you as we travel the weight loss/healthy lifestyle together. I will post some quilt pictures if I can figure out how to do it.
