Hey there
Today I finished my last workout of week 8 and I just wanted to share my progress so far with you
I am 22, 5'7 / 1,69m and my starting weight was 76.5 kg / 168.7 lbs.
Today, I weighed in and I was 75.5kg / 166.5 lbs - so I lost 1kg / 2.2 lbs. I really struggle with my diet, because I eat way too much and way too much unhealthy stuff, but I'm working on it.
So here's my SL progress so far:
Squats:
Startet at: 20 kg / 44 lbs now I am at 60 kg / 132 lbs. I was up to 67.5 kg / 149 lbs, but my form was a little off, so I deloaded to 60.
Bench Press:
Startet at 20 kg / 44 lbs now I am at 38.5 kg / 85 lbs.
Overhead Press:
Started at 20 kg / 44 lbs now I am at 32.5 kg / 71.6 lbs.
Deadlifts:
Started at 40 kg / 88 lbs now I am at 80 kg / 176 lbs. I was up at 85 kg / 187 lbs, but (similiar than with the squats) my form didn't feel ok.
And then, there are the Rows:
Started at 30 kg / 66 lbs and now I am at 41 kg / 90 lbs. I hate rows. I hate them - and they seem to hate me. I made so little progress with those and I struggle with my form every time. There is a lot of work here.
I have to say, I still love this programm and I will definetly continue! Tomorrow I will also take some progress pictures, but, because of my bad eating habits (yeah, I know, I really have to get this straight) I do not expect any big changes, but maybe I see some muscles
And for me, the biggest celebration: I CAN FEEL MY TRICEPS! MUHAHAHHA!
Thank you all for the great support on here! This group is an amazing support and motivation source for me
Lovely greets from germany (with 36°C / 97° F)

Juli, I put pics up last night in the progress pics thread. I was -convinced- I had gotten fatter because I've put on a few pounds...but if you look at my pictures you can see that's not the case. Our brains always make it worse than it is. I can't wait to see your progress.0

What amazing progress! It's very encouraging to read these posts. Having just started yesterday, I simply cannot imagine being able to lift what I'm currently lifting now (45 pounds on all except OHP, and that's definitely a challenging starting point for me). I have to say that I love the outline of this program simply for the small progressions - it seems like each week, even if you upped the weight on just a single exercise, it would feel like a success. & while I'm definitely hoping to see some definition throughout this, I'm really looking forward to finally feeling like I'm pushing my body to become stronger.
Please keep posting results/progress stats. They are very encouraging to beginners like me.0 -
