Challenge: run/walk 1 mile a day for 40 days

A Facebook friend of mine started a 40 day challenge to run/walk 1 mile a day for 40 days. I did the first day where I run 1/4 mile and walked the 3/4 mile that was left. It felt good to actually make it all the way around the track for the 1/4 without passing out, and I am now working on getting faster at it and building into 1/2 a mile. The benefit is that I move everyday and I can already feel the results. Not bad for a 40-something ay!!!!
